SPANISH COFFEE CAKE 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. salad oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
Chopped nuts

Mix together flour, sugars, oil, salt and cinnamon like pie crust. Set aside 1/2 cup for topping. Add to first mixture the soda, powder, buttermilk and egg; mix for 4 minutes.

Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch bread pans. Top with reserved mixture; sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 4 minutes.
