WINE BRAISED PORK CHOPS 
4 boneless pork chops, approx. 1" thick
1 med. green pepper, sliced crosswise
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
2 med. tomatoes
1/3 c. white wine

Slowly heat large heavy skillet. Brown chops well (10 minutes on each side). Remove chops and drain all but 1/2 teaspoon of fat from pan. Add, green pepper, garlic, mushrooms and saute about 5 minutes. Place chops on green pepper, sprinkle with salt and pepper; top with tomatoes and wine. Simmer slowly, covered, 40-45 minutes or until chops tender. Serve with sauce.
