PORK CHOPS BRAISED WITH PRUNES 
4 pork chops
2-3 med. onions, sliced
12 dried prunes
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. cider vinegar
1-2 dashes Tabasco
Salt and pepper to taste

Slowly brown chops on both sides in preheated skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add 2-3 sliced medium onions, 12 dried prunes, 1/2 cup water, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 teaspoons cider vinegar and a dash or 2 of Tabasco. Cover and cook over low heat about 1 hour or until tender. Serves 4.
