GLAZED SQUASH | |
Acorn squash, well washed, cut into 1/2 inch thick rings, take seeds out 3/4 c. white Karo syrup 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 3 tbsp. water 3 tbsp. butter Steam the squash for 15 minutes. Place the squash rings in a shallow baking dish. Make a mixture of the syrup, spice, water and butter. Heat until almost boiling. Pour over the squash. Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees until squash is glazed. |
