CABBAGE PATCH SOUP 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1 can water 3/4 of 1 head cabbage, cut up

Brown ground beef with onion. Add celery. Stir until mixed well. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 20-30 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and chili powder to taste. This is easy to double and freezes well.
