CABBAGE PATCH SOUP 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
4 stalks celery, diced
1/2 med. onion, diced
Dash pepper
1/4 tsp. chili powder (more to taste)
1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef broth
1 (15 oz.) light red kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 med. cabbage, cut in bite-size pieces

Brown first 3 ingredients in a large heavy kettle. Add remaining ingredients and boil 20 minutes. Better yet if simmered 2 hours.
