ITALIAN MEAT LOAF | |
2 lbs. lean ground beef 3/4 c. chopped onions 1 c. Italian bread crumbs 1 egg 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 3/4 tsp. oregano 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce Combine onion, bread, crumbs, egg, spices, and 1 1/2 cans of tomato sauce. Mix in ground beef. Pat into rectangle on wax paper. Sprinkle with cheeses. Roll like jelly roll. Seal both edges. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Add remaining tomato sauce. Bake 15 minutes more. |
