DEEP - DISH PIZZA | |
3 c. Bisquick mix 3/4 c. water 1 lb. hamburger 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 2 cloves garlic, crushed 15 oz. can tomatoes 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 1 jar (4 1/2 oz.) mushrooms 1/2 c. chopped green peppers 2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz.) Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease jelly roll or 15 x 10 inch sheet pan. Mix Bisquick and water into soft dough, then knead about 20 times on floured surface. Pat dough on bottom and sides of pan with floured hands to form a 3/4 inch rim. Cook beef, onion and garlic until brown; drain. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Spread on crust. Sprinkle on green peppers, mushrooms and cheese. Bake until golden brown crust, about 20 minutes. Serves 8. |
