DEEP DISH PIZZA CASSEROLE 
3 c. flour
3 c. instant mashed potatoes
1 1/4 c. milk
1 1/4 c. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage (not links)
1 lg. onion, chopped
8 oz. can tomato sauce
6 oz. can tomato paste
6 oz. can pitted black olives, sliced
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tbsp. Italian seasonings
1/2 tbsp. oregano
1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

For crust: Combine flour, potatoes, milk, butter; set aside.

For filling: In skillet cook beef, sausage and onion until meat is no longer pink. Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce, olives, tomato paste and seasonings. Simmer.

Press half of crust mix into bottom and sides of 13x9 baking dish. Spread filling over crust and cover with cheese. Roll out remaining half of crust mix between waxed paper and place over cheese and filling. Pinch edges to seal (like a pie crust).

Bake in 425 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, until crust is golden. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 12 servings.
