CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. self rising flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. softened butter
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, vanilla, brown sugar, stir until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Make about 5 dozen.
