WINTER FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 pkg. pitted prunes (3/4 lb.)
1 pkg. dried apricots (1/2 lb.)
1 can chunk pineapple with juice
1 can mandarin oranges with juice
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. sherry

Use ungreased 8"x8" or 9"x9' pan. Layer fruit in pan in order listed. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve warm. (This fruit mixture keeps well in a jar in refrigerator. Re-warm when you wish to serve.)
