WINTER FRUIT COMPOTE 
1/4-1/2 lb. each prunes & dried apricots
1/4-1/2 lb. each raisins & golden raisins (optional)
1 cinnamon stick
Assorted fresh fruit
Chopped walnuts

Put dried fruit in saucepan. Add cold water to cover. Simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour or until fruit is plump and tender. To serve, combine with cut up fresh fruit of choice and top with nuts.
