FRUIT SALAD COMPOTE 
1 med. can chunk pineapple
1 lg. can peaches
1 lg. can pears
1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
3/4 lg. can cranberry sauce
1/2 pt. (1 c.) cream
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. mayonnaise
6 drops lemon juice

Drain all fruit; cut peaches and pears into bite size pieces. Add whole cherries and pineapple. Whip cranberry sauce and add to fruit; chill. Whip the cream, sugar and vanilla; add mayonnaise and lemon juice and beat again. Serve dressing on fruit mixture.
