HAYSTACK COOKIES 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate or butterscotch chips (or mix)
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
4 c. corn flakes, bran flakes or Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut (opt.)

In top of double boiler, melt chips and peanut butter until smooth. Stir frequently. In large bowl mix flakes and coconut. Pour melted mixture over dry mixture and stir until cereal is well coated. Drop by teaspoonfuls (hands work well too, not too big a ball) onto wax paper taped down or on lightly greased cookie sheet. Put in cool place to set up (about 1 hour).
