CRISPY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. Rice Krispie cereal

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and butter. Beat at medium speed until blended; add sugar and egg. Beat until creamy. Add remaining ingredients except cereal. Stir in cereal. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Press dough with fork dipped in sugar. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Let stand 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Yields 30 cookies.
