NUT COOKIES 
2 lb. dates
2 lb. walnuts
1 lb. Brazil nuts, don't cut up
2 (10 oz.) maraschino cherries, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix dry ingredients and pour over nuts, dates and cherries. Toss until coated. Beat 5 large eggs. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon almond extract. Pour over fruit, etc. Toss lightly. Grease 2 to 3 deep pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.

2 batches makes a 16 x 16 and 10 x 10.

3 batches makes 12 x 18 and 14 x 14 and 10 x 10.

1 batch makes 14 x 14.
