IRISH SODA BREAD 
4 c. flour
2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 heaping tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. caraway seeds, optional
1/2 c. raisins

In large bowl combine all dry ingredients but baking soda. Put baking soda and egg in milk and beat with fork. Add milk mixture to dry mixture and stir until blended. Handle dough as little as possible. Bake in greased and floured cast iron frying pan for 45-50 minutes at 325 degrees.
