EASY AND DELICIOUS SALMON 
1 large salmon fillet

SAUCE:

6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) unsalted butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 cup soy sauce (I use Tamari)
1 tbsp. ketchup (Hunts)
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of cayenne pepper
pinch of thyme
black pepper, to taste

In a saucepan, combine butter, garlic powder, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, dash cayenne pepper, pinch of thyme and black pepper to taste. Simmer slowly for 10 minutes.

Lightly rinse salmon in cool water. Brush sauce over fillet after slightly cooling sauce, and cook medium rare, either by broiling, baking, or grilling. (I judge doneness by making sure the fish is slightly resistant to a gentle poke).

Best served with Jasmine or brown rice
