BLOND BROWNIES 
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream brown sugar, butter; beat in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl stir flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add to the other mixture and combine well. Stir in chips. Spread in a well greased 9"x13" pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and cut into bars. Makes 24 bars.
