"STACALTZA" BEANS AND POTATO SALAD | |
1 lb. fresh or frozen green beans 5 potatoes, peeled and sliced into pieces 1 lg. clove garlic, chopped 2 slices salt pork, diced Approx. 1 tsp. butter Approx. 1/4 c. wine vinegar Fry salt pork and garlic in pan with butter. Don't burn. Cool and boil potatoes until cooked. Add green beans and boil until tender. drain and put into pan. Add wine vinegar to salt pork mixture and heat. Mash potatoes and beans a little. Add vinegar mixture and mix well. Serve warm with steak, chops, etc. |
