STUFFED BAKED APPLES 
4 baking apples, cored & peeled 1/3 down
1 c. plus 4 tsp. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. raisins
2 tbsp. pecans, chopped
4 tbsp. corn oil butter, soft tub
2 tbsp. water

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place apples in shallow baking dish, skin side down. Set aside. In a small bowl mix 4 teaspoons brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins and pecans. Spoon equal portions into core apples. Place 1 tablespoon butter on each apple. Add 1 cup brown sugar and water to pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until apples are tender. Spoon sauce over apples before serving.
