PIE CRUST FOR APPLE STRUDEL 
1 c. lard
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Mix.

1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. vinegar
Enough cold water to make 1/2 c.

Mix into flour. Roll out crust, spread with butter. Spread apples (3 cups or so). Sprinkle sugar over apples and then cinnamon until covered. Use deep dish pie pan sprayed with Pam or greased lightly. Roll up like jelly roll and fit into pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees until crust is golden brown.
