PEACH-NUT CONSERVE 
6 c. sliced ripe peaches
4 c. sugar
1 orange, quartered
1 (14 oz.) can (1 1/2 c.) pineapple tidbits
1 c. broken walnuts

Combine peaches and sugar; let stand until juice forms. Put orange through food chopper. Cut pineapple in small pieces. Combine peach mixture, orange and pineapple; cook slowly until thick, about 40 minutes. Remove from heat and add nuts. Seal in hot sterilized glasses. Makes 8 (6 oz.) glasses.
