POUND CAKE 
3/4 lb. butter 3 c. sugar
3 c. Softasilk flour (only)
8 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream sugar and butter until creamy; alternately add 1 egg, then beat. Add flour, then beat. Add another egg and beat, then add flour and beat. Do this until all ingredients are used up. Bake in 325 degree oven until done.
