5 HOUR BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. beef stew meat
1 or 2 stalks celery, cut up
3 or 4 potatoes, cut in quarters
1 med. onion, sliced thick
2 c. tomato juice (V-8 juice)
Fresh whole green beans or peas (optional)

Bake in casserole dish, tightly covered with foil, for 5 hours at 250 degrees. No peeking! while cooking. Keep tightly covered.
