OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. beef stew meat
2 lg. carrots, cut in chunks
1 lg. onion, thickly sliced
2 med. potatoes, quartered
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can tomato soup

Combine all ingredients in large casserole or roaster; do not brown meat. Bake, covered, at 275 degrees for 5 hours. Serves 4.
