SAVORY PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
1/4 c. flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 c. tomatoes (canned)
1 3/4 c. water
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. beef flavored gravy base
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 green peppers, cut in strips

Cut steak in strips, brown in oil (coat meat in flour, salt and pepper). Add tomatoes, water, onion, garlic and gravy base. Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours. Stir in Worcestershire and green pepper strips. Cook 5 minutes. Add thickening if needed. When steak is all done, serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.
