CORN AND CABBAGE 
5 slices bacon
1/2 c. hot water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
3 c. shredded cabbage
2 c. whole kernel corn
Paprika

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet. Add water slowly; add sugar, salt and hot sauce to drippings. Bring to a boil on high. While still boiling, stir in cabbage and corn. Cover and cook 10 minutes on low (or until tender). Sprinkle with bacon and paprika.
