CORN CHOWDER | |
1 med. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. butter 2 med. diced potatoes 1 c. hot water 2 c. milk 2 tbsp. flour 1 (16 oz.) corn, frozen or canned 1 can tuna 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Saute onion in butter in a saucepan until golden. Add potatoes and hot water; bring to a boil, cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. Gradually stir milk into flour. Add corn, milk, mixture, tuna, salt, and pepper to potatoes. Bring to a full boil, stirring occasionally. Simmer about 5 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings. |
