PRETZEL STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD 
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 2/3 c. crushed pretzels
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 c. Cool Whip
2 (3 oz. each) pkg. strawberry Jello
3 cups water, boiling (for Jello)
2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen strawberries

Cream 3 tablespoons sugar with butter. Add pretzels and press into a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Cool.

Mix 1 pkg. cream cheese with 1 cup sugar. Add Cool Whip and spread over the crust. Let stand until firm. dissolve Jello in 3 cups boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Pour over cheese mixture after Jello has slightly thickened. Refrigerate until set. Cut into squares to serve.
