MICROWAVE MEAT LOAF
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/3 bottle Bennett's chili sauce (use Bennet for flavor)
2 eggs
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. Muenster cheese, cubed (optional)
1 chopped onion

Mix all ingredients. Form into loaf and place in glass utility dish. Bake in microwave uncovered on full power for 14-16 minutes or until done. Drain grease periodically. Meat will brown on top. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for several minutes before cutting.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

My grandmother received a huge & new-aged, microwave for her 50th birthday, back in 1980. One of the recipes she learned right away was this Microwave Meat Loaf. Everyone in our family loved and still loves to this day, Microwave Meat Loaf made from this recipe! It's juicy, light and delicious. I like to leave it in to cook just a bit longer so that it gets a nice dark, crispy, crust on top (optional).

Great recipe, try it!

I used this recipe back in the 1980's when I bought an Amana Radar Range. The recipe was called "Basic Orientation Meatloaf". I still use this recipe. However, I put the meatloaf on a large glass platter and form the meatloaf into a ring shape for more even cooking, and it's so delicious!
