BEER NUTS 
3 lbs. raw peanuts (6 + c.)
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Mix all above except nuts in a large kettle. Add raw peanuts. Cook on low heat until all liquid is gone. Stir continuously. (Nuts begin to get sugary.) then place on a cookie sheet in oven at 275 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir and salt every 15 minutes.
