HARLEY'S BEER NUTS 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. maple flavor
1/2 tbsp. salt

Bring to a rolling boil; watch so it doesn't burn. Add 3 bags raw Spanish peanuts. Turn down heat; keep boiling, stirring constantly until dry, approximately 15 minutes. Spread on baking sheet and bake at 275 degrees for 40 minutes. Stir 3-4 times until coated.
