BISCUITS SUPREME 
2 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. solid vegetable shortening
2/3 c. milk

Makes 18-20 biscuits 95 calories, 2g protein, 7g fat, 119 carbohydrates, 151mg sodium, 1mg cholesterol.

Preheat to 450 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and tartar. With 2 knives, cut in shortening. Stir in milk and turn on lightly floured board. Knead slightly. Roll out 1/2 inch thick with biscuit cutter. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
