APPLE CRISP 
3 lg. baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced (about 1 1/2 lb.)
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. oat bran
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 c. butter, softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8 inch square baking pan with Pam. Arrange apples in baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice and peel. In small bowl, combine flour, bran, brown sugar, cinnamon, and allspice. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 30-40 minutes until lightly browned.

Makes 6 servings.
