MEAT SEASONING BLEND 
3 tbsp. dried whole thyme
2 tbsp. onion powder
1 1/2 tbsp. cumin seeds or 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tbsp. pepper
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. garlic powder
3 sm. bay leaves, crumbled or 1/4 tsp. plus 1/8 tsp. ground bay leaves

Combine all ingredients, stirring well. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Yield about 1/2 cup.
