SAUSAGE OR HAM STRATA 
8 slices white bread, crusts removed
1 1/2 lb. sausage, browned & drained or 2 c. diced ham
1/2 lb. Cheddar or Swiss cheese
2 green onions, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
6 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Butter bread slices. In a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan, alternate (twice) layers of bread slices, sausage or ham, grated cheese, onions and mushrooms ending with grated cheese. Beat together eggs, milk and seasoning until well blended. Gently pour over layered ingredients in baking dish. Cover tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
