SOUR CREAM BRAN MUFFINS 
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. egg
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. raisins
1 heaping tbsp. molasses
1 1/4 c. bran
Dash salt
1/2 to 1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Cream butter, add eggs and sugar. Add sour cream, molasses and bran. Sift together all dry ingredients and mix well. Add nuts, mix again. Fill well greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake 20-25 minutes at 375 degrees. Yields 16 small or 12 large.
