SALMON CHOWDER 
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 c. shredded carrots
1 c. diced fresh potatoes
1 can chicken broth
1 clove garlic, crushed
3/4 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 can creamed corn
2 c. half and half or you can use evaporated milk
2 c. cooked flaked salmon - either canned or fresh (fresh is much better - cook in the microwave)

Sauté onion, celery and green pepper in butter. Into pot, add carrots, potatoes, chicken broth, garlic, dill weed, pepper and salt. Cook all on low until carrots and potatoes are done (about 30 minutes). Add corn, half and half and salmon. Heat and serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
