BARBECUED POT ROAST | |
3 lb. pot roast 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. water 3 med. onions 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. vinegar 2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. oil 18 oz. can tomato sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 c. catsup Rub meat with salt and pepper. Brown in oil on both sides. Add water, tomato sauce, and onions in pot. Cover. Cook slowly over low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cover. Cook 1 hour or until tender. |
