CARROTS & BACON BITS 
4 strips bacon
2 tbsp. butter
Salt, pepper
8 carrots, cut in half, lengthwise
4 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 c. water

In skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and drippings. Melt butter in skillet. Add carrots, onions, salt, pepper and water. Cook, covered, over low heat for 30 minutes. Add crumbled bacon just before serving. Serves 3 to 4.
