THREE BEAN SALAD | |
1 can (16oz) or 2 c. French cut green beans 1 can (16oz) or 2 c. yellow wax beans 1 can (16oz) or 2 c. red kidney beans 1/2 c. minced green pepper 1/2 c. minced onion 1/4 tsp. minced garlic, or 3 cloves fresh (optional) 1/4 tsp. ground celery seed (optional) 1/2 c. vegetable or olive oil 3/4 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper Prepare the day before and refrigerate overnight. Before serving, taste and adjust seasonings. Makes about 10 servings. |
