BETTY'S CHICKEN IN WINE 
4 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. white wine
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 tbsp. chopped chives
1/2 tsp. tarragon
1/4 tsp. thyme
6 pieces chicken

Melt butter in iron skillet. Brown chicken pieces. Add wine and herbs. Cover and simmer slowly 1 hour or put in 300 degree oven. the herb mixture will take care of 6 pieces of chicken.
