BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. milk
2 eggs, separated, save whites for meringue
1 tsp. butter

Cook over medium heat until thick. Put in baked pie shell and top with meringue from egg whites and put in oven to brown meringue. Note: Beat egg whites until stiff and add 4 teaspoons sugar and beat until sugar is completely dissolved.
