“RICH ROLLS OR BREAD” IS IN:

RICH ROLLS OR BREAD 
1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter or shortening
2 eggs, beaten
7 to 7 1/2 cups flour (about)

Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside for 5 minutes.

In a bowl, add 2 cups of flour plus remaining ingredients; beat 4 minutes.

Add as much of the remaining flour as is needed to make a soft dough; turn out and knead on a lightly floured board for 8 minutes (or knead with dough hook).

Let rise until doubled in size. Punch down and let rise a second time until doubled in size.

Form into loaves and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until done. Frost with white frosting.
