PEA SOUP 
1 pkg. dried peas
1 ham bone & pieces of leftover ham
1 can chicken broth
1 can water
1 cube beef bouillon
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 stalk celery, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped very fine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
More salt & pepper at end to taste
1 bay leaf

Soak peas overnight. Drain and add chicken broth and water. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat, cover pan (not completely) and simmer for at least 2 hours. Add more water as needed. Stir every 20 minutes so peas won't stick.
