PEACH COBBLER 
2 c. sliced canned peaches (another fruit can be substituted)
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
Pinch of cinnamon
1/2 c. peach juice (from can of peaches)
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tbsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. milk

Place fruit in greased 6 x 10 inch baking dish. Combine cornstarch, cinnamon, juice, salt, and sprinkle over fruit. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar together. Cut in the shortening, mix well. Add milk, stir well. Drop by teaspoon on fruit and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
