CHERRY COBBLER 
#2 can (2 1/2 c.) soured cherries
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. butter or substitute canned pie filling

FOR BISCUIT TOP:

1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. milk

Put filling in well greased oblong baking dish. Roll out pastry and cover top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
