LINGUINI WITH CLAM SAUCE | |
3 tbsp. butter 4 cloves minced garlic 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 1 (10 oz.) can whole clams, drained and chopped (save liquid) 1 c. Mozzarella cheese or Swiss cheese 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 lb. cooked linguini In small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic; cook until transparent. Stir in flour. Gradually add milk and reserved clam liquid. Cook until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Add clams, cheese and parsley; add salt and pepper to taste, stirring until cheese is melted. Serve over linguini. Makes 8 servings. |
