LINGUINI WITH CLAM SAUCE (RED) 
1 sm. onion
1/4 c. olive oil
2 cans tomato paste
2 cans baby clams
1 lb. linguine
Oregano, salt, pepper, basil, parsley - to taste

Chop up the onion and then saute it in the olive oil in a 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Then add the two cans of tomato paste and the seasonings of your choice. Drain the juice of the canned clams and place this juice into the saucepan and stir all ingredients. Set the clams aside. Let the sauce simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour and then add the clams.

About 15 minutes before the sauce is done you can prepare the linguine according to the package directions and to your liking (al dente, mush, etc.). When the sauce is done you can simply pour it over the linguine and serve it. This is a relatively quick and easy meal to prepare. Enjoy!
